Panchayat members the state.
Anil
Sharma, President All Jammu and Kashmir Conference while condemning the killing
of Sarpanch Ghulam Ahmad Bhat who was shot at by gunmen in Wanpoh village of

incompetent Chief Minister not only failed to protect the lives of the
panchayat members but his government also even failed to catch the killers who
are roaming free and mercilessly killing the elected representatives. “We
demand a judicial panel in time bound manner to bring the truth into light that
who is killing our Panchayat members and sponsoring these killers, whether the
assassins are coming from across the border or they are locals, it is an act of

Panchayat members are result of personal enmity and local criminal issue while
other time they say it as a terrorists act.
“
We the 33,000 elected panchayat members do not want to live in fear psychosis
therefore want to know the truth which is only possible after a thorough probe
by a Judicial commission under the chairmanship of a sitting High Court or
Supreme Court Judge”. Anil Said.

reiterated its demand of sufficient ex-gratia amount for
the next kins of the martyr Panchayat members besides government employment for
